#زمن المضارع التام يستخدم للتعبير عن حدث ماضي له علاقة بالحاضر. لتكوين هذا الزمن، نحتاج إلى ثلاثة أشياء: - الفاعل: هو الشخص أو الشيء الذي يقوم بالفعل. مثل: (I, you, he, she, it, we, they.) - الفعل المساعد: هو الفعل الذي يساعد على تحديد الزمن. في زمن المضارع التام، نستخدم has أو have. نستخدم has مع الفاعلين he, she, it. نستخدم have مع الفاعلين I, you, we, they. - الفعل الرئيسي: هو الفعل الذي يعبر عن الحدث أو الفعل الذي حدث. في زمن المضارع التام، نستخدم الفعل في التصريف الثالث (past participle). هذا التصريف يختلف حسب نوع الفعل. بعض الأفعال تنتهي بـ ed في التصريف الثالث . مثل: work - worked, study - studied, finish - finished. بعض الأفعال تتغير شكلها في التصريف الثالث. مثل: go - gone, see - seen, do - done. لنرى بعض الأمثلة: - I have worked hard today. (لقد عملت بجد اليوم.) - She has gone to the market. (هي ذهبت إلى السوق.) - They have seen the movie. (هم رأوا الفيلم.) في هذه الأمثلة، نرى أن الأحداث (العمل، الذهاب، الرؤية) حدثت في الماضي ولكن لها علاقة بالحاضر. مثلا، الآن أنا متعب من العمل، أو الآن هي في السوق، أو الآن هم يعرفون قصة الفيلم. - أمثلة مثبتة: - I have lived in this house for 10 years.
